Play and learn at the museum.
Thank you to Heidi Gales and consignors of the Sandbox Bookstore, for supporting the Tree Fort with $1000 donation to build our exhibits, sponsor free play, and continue our mission!
The Tree Fort is an emerging children’s museum with a mini-space at the Obra Project in Downtown Moses Lake. A dedicated board of directors and committed community members are working to grow it into a dedicated and larger space!
Our play space is open for free play thanks to our generous sponsors. Come visit us Tuesday-Friday from 11am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm. Keep an eye on our social media pages for fun pop-ups in our space!

Families visit children’s museums for unique shared experiences not found in traditional museums or other popular destinations. Children’s museums are places where children learn through play and exploration in environments designed just for them.
Children’s museums have a special opportunity to meet broader community needs. They are integral parts of a community, often working in tandem with other educational and community partners to support children and families.
The Tree Fort Children’s museum creates playful, interactive learning experiences in a place that celebrates children learning through play with the caring adults in their lives.
